ADONIS: Community Edition reaches 10,000 user milestone

The BOC Group announced today that its free Business Process Management (BPM) tool ADONIS:Community Edition has recently hit a milestone of 10,000 registered users.

To celebrate hitting this milestone BOC Group is running a contest where users can win an Apple iPad for sharing their BPM stories and best practices with the ADONIS:Community until 29th March 2010.

ADONIS:Community Edition is a free version of its BPM-tool ADONIS. It is aimed both at users new to Business Process Management, who need an intuitive tool for documenting processes and publishing them as HTML and Word, as well as experienced BPM practitioners, who want more sophisticated options such as process simulation, performance monitoring, and risk management support. It supports BPMN and features BPEL and XML exports for easy integration with other tools and systems.

The ADONIS Community Portal ( offers the free download of the ADONIS:Community Edition and, to expand BPM knowledge, a comprehensive discussion forum and learning section that contains presentations about BPM application areas, screencasts, and tips that enable a quick start with ADONIS:CE.

“We see Business Process Modelling and Analysis as one of the core tasks that underpin efficient and effective management of companies and other institutions.” explains Tobias Rausch, ADONIS Product Manager at BOC Group.
