Hubspan, a leading provider of cloud-based business integration solutions, was honored by IBM for its “Cloud Computing Innovation” as a finalist in the IBM Beacon Award competition. Hubspan received its award this week at the IBM Information On Demand EMEA Conference, held in Rome, Italy. Hubspan was one of just three companies selected for the Cloud Computing Innovation award out of hundreds of entrants, with the judging performed by leading industry journalists, analysts and IBM executives.
This prestigious honor is awarded each year to a select number of IBM Business Partners and recognizes technical excellence and innovative solutions based on IBM products and services. Hubspan was selected for its WebSpan integration solution, which combines Hubspan’s cloud-based platform and managed services with key components of IBM WebSphere integration software. WebSpan enables companies to automate and integrate critical business processes with a secure, reliable and scalable cloud solution.
According to IBM executive Rich Hume, the IBM Beacon Awards are synonymous with excellence and innovation and provide IBM an opportunity to recognize IBM’s partners as the best among the very best — true innovators in their field.
“Hubspan has worked closely with IBM to provide best-in-class cloud integration solutions for enterprises of all sizes across multiple industries,” said Trisha Gross, president and CEO of Hubspan. “Being named a finalist in this year’s IBM Beacon Awards competition is a terrific honor and a reflection of the success our customers are achieving using the WebSpan SaaS Integration Platform.”
This Beacon Award recognition comes on the heels of Hubspan’s “Best of Show” award at the recent IBM Impact 2010 conference.
